Position Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Position Type: Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week, Adheres to Weekly Schedule

Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior support plans and treatment plans tailored to the needs of our clients. Your commitment to excellence and passion for making a positive impact will be instrumental in supporting our clients’ growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • RBT Certification (Preferred)
  • High School Degree

  • Confidentiality and Professionalism: Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA Laws as outlined by organization standards. Uphold professionalism in all interactions and safeguard the privacy and dignity of clients.
  • Continuous Professional Development: Remain up to date on RBT certification and Task List expectations. Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
  • Safety Compliance and Preparedness: Maintain CPR and Safety Care Certifications. Demonstrate readiness to respond effectively in emergency situations and prioritize the safety and well-being of clients.
  • Effective Implementation and Program Review: Implement client programming as prescribed by the supervising BCBA. Routinely review client programming to ensure an effective service delivery model and optimize client outcomes.
  • Data Collection and Management: Collect skill-acquisition data to demonstrate continuous client progress and meet organization standards. Ensure thorough data management and accuracy in reporting to support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Documentation and Communication: Complete Session Note requirements in a timely manner for all services provided. Effectively communicate observable client changes with the appropriate supervisor and maintain open communication with the leadership team.
  • Objectivity and Reporting: Maintain objectivity regarding client observations and organization standards. Remain unbiased in reporting client progress and organizational matters to ensure transparency and integrity.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with BCBAs and colleagues to ensure personal accountability regarding program integrity and service delivery. Foster a collaborative environment to support interdisciplinary teamwork and client-centered care.
  • Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Knowledge: Demonstrate a working understanding of the strategies and concepts of Applied Behavior Analysis. Apply ABA principles effectively to support client progress and behavior management.
  • Feedback Acceptance and Growth Mindset: Accept feedback and develop knowledge and skills accordingly. Demonstrate adaptability and a growth mindset, actively seeking opportunities for learning and improvement.

Physical Requirements:

  • Continuously move from sitting, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Act quickly in the event of an emergency.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Maintain professional conduct despite outside influences.
