Parent Trainings

“When a family focuses on ability instead of disability, all things are possible . . . Love and acceptance is key. We need to interact with those with autism by taking an interest in their interests.”
Amanda Rae Ross

At H.O.P.E., we care deeply about our clients and listen to them. Open communication is a key component of any successful ABA program. H.O.P.E. does its best to match you with staff that are a good fit for your child and your family. We believe you play a critical role in the success of your child’s ABA program. We communicate what we are doing in therapy and show you ways you can support your family’s goals when we are not there. We encourage generalization by explaining key strategies and routines that can be put in place even without a BCBA or RBT present.

Parent participation and training are a mandatory element of our Comprehensive ABA and Focused ABA services. We believe that we can achieve the best outcomes with the investment and involvement of dedicated parents. We provide in the moment parent training and feedback during ABA sessions. H.O.P.E. staff also will set up monthly parent meetings to review progress and create new goals for parents to target between meetings. We set attainable short term and long term goals to ultimately improve the quality of life for everyone.
